a week in oufits! - collab with bethxkate

I'm finally back after 2 weeks of not posting and I just want to apologise for this because ever since starting sixth form, it really has been non-stop! I also want to apologise for the quality of this post, in particular the photos because I really have struggled to take pictures this week, as I haven't really told many people at sixth form about my blog!

Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this post as it is in collab with one of my lovely friends Beth from BethxKate! She is doing the same post as me, as we are both in sixth form but the difference is that she doesn't have a dress code whereas I do! I will leave the links to her blog and her post below and it would be amazing if you would check out her blog, as she has amazing content, and she is very talented!

My dress code as sixth form is just classed as 'smart', so you'll see over the week that I wear the same style of clothes. Some of the clothes, particularly trousers and shoes are the same, as I don't have a wide selection of these! Also I did pretty much wear the same blazer all week with these outfits, but it was the only one that went with every outfit! But I will try to link all the products below, or find something similar!

Monday

Shock horror- Amelia actually wore a skirt and it really was a bad decision that day! My tights were the main issue, laddering so badly I had to take them off on the bus home!



Tuesday

Was back to my roots wearing trousers, and it was school photos :( so I wore a pretty top!



Wednesday

I actually forgot to take a photo of my outfit on Wednesday and then put my trousers in the wash! So unfortunately there is no photo just because of my own stupidity! However, I wore dark red paper bag trousers, with a basic white cami blouse on, and grey flats. I loved this outfit so I'm gutted I can't show it! My entire outfit was from Primark because they are KILLING it at the minute!


Thursday

I went back to my black trousers on Thursday and paired it with a ribbed muted pink long sleeved top and my usual shoes for Sixth Form! A simple outfit which I loved.


Trousers- same as above!
Shoes- same as above!

Friday

I ventured out a little on Friday and wore green trousers- yes- green. It was out of my comfort zone but I really liked them! I paired it with a simple black top and shoes, and the same blazer!

    I loved reading this and seeing what you wore in the week! The dress code at my sixth form is the same! Not many sixth forms have a formal dress code so it was nice to get some more inspiration! summer skincare routine

Skincare is usually not something I care too much about, and as I do have pretty clear skin. However, I have wanted to have a routine in place, as I am trying to reduce the amount of break outs I have! I mean, what a great time to be writing this, considering I have just broken out with a few spots around my nose! I don't own a lot of skincare products, and its just because my skin rarely needs a full, deep cleanse, but these products I use on a daily basis. In the morning, I will only apply the last 3 products, just because I don't usually have a lot of time to focus on skincare! Hello and welcome back or welcome to my blog! Today I’m bringing a post I have wanted to write for such a long time, and has been some time in the making. Piercings are quite a big thing for me personally, and I have quite an extensive amount (currently I’m up to 9 on both ears, as of last Tuesday). I also wanted to write this post to give my reviews (and an added pain scale, 1 being low and 10 being high) to each piercing I have, in case anyone is doubting a piercing. This is something I am so passionate about, so I’m happy I can share this here! Left Ear My left ear is a lot more decorated than my right, as it holds 6 piercings in total. 3 ways to make your spotify 'aesthetic'

Music is something that makes me so happy, and you find me listening to it a lot of the time (as I’m writing this I have my summer playlist on), whether that be with my airpods in and being respectful to everyone, blasting out my records, or just having a party in my room (this happens more often than not!). I use and update my spotify account regularly, and like to keep it as ‘aesthetic’ as possible, and there are ways to do this. I will link my spotify below if you’d like any inspiration 😊 1.       Update your playlists regularly. New songs are released weekly, and you can often find songs that you forget about but never add them to playlists. By updating playlists, it means you’re not having the same selection of songs on repeat, which can eventually get boring. As well as adding new songs, removing songs you don’t like as much anymore or don’t fit a certain vibe in a playlist, it can help you to enjoy some playlists a lot more, rather than having to skip so many songs before f
