april favourites!

Image
Favourites posts are always one of my most popular and favourite posts to write as I love sharing the things I’m loving recently, as I love recommending products to people. I haven’t had too many favourites this month, as I’ve just been binging Netflix and having many chill days. Pinterest My first favourite this month has been this app, I’m honestly obsessed with it, and I am loving building up my boards and gaining new ideas for my daily life, whether that be fashion, makeup, quotes, productivity ideas (which are much needed at this point), it really does help broaden my own ideas as an individual. It is just a place of inspiration, and if you don’t use it, I would highly recommend it! My username is @ameliaaarghhhh if you’d like to give me a follow, it would be much appreciated. You As I’m writing this post, I’m sat watching the last episode of the second season of ‘You’, which for those of you who don’t know is an American psychological thriller series on Ne...

records wishlist

Image
Since getting my record player for my 18 th birthday from my best friend (he’s a legend) I’ve been obsessed with using it! As soon as I received it, I wanted to buy records for it immediately and use it consistently, which I can say I have! Currently, I have two vinyl’s: when we all fall asleep, where do we go? (Billie Eilish) and Hopeless Fountain Kingdom (Halsey). However, I do have a wish list of records as I am a bit music obsessed, and eventually will be bored of the same couple of albums!           After Hours (The Weeknd) The Weeknd is one of my all-time favourite artists, so when he released his ‘After Hours’ album last month, I was hooked instantly. His voice is unique and I think we can all agree there are some tunes on this album, Blinding Lights being the obvious one! current fave song from the album- Too Late 2         Future Nostalgia (Dua Lipa) I feel like I’ve never admitted I’m a Dua Lipa fan...

a day in the life of isolation

Image
I have a feeling a lot of these posts are coming in the near future, from myself and other bloggers, as we are all doing pretty much the same thing: isolating (and if not, get insideeeee!!!!) This day in my life seems to be like the ones I’m having every day at the minute, which is basically not productive and very chilled. Morning Typically, I’m waking up anywhere between 8:30 and 9:30 and I don’t seem to move for a while! I just like taking the time in the morning to fully wake up and complete a lot of social media tasks as well as talking to my closest friends. When I’ve had enough, I get up, dressed and get some breakfast whilst watching a TV show (at this point it was Killing Eve). I made a cuppa (being the classic British individual I am), and just sat and read through a lot of blog posts as well as completing a few online tasks. Eventually I decided to get on with a little bit of coursework as I needed to do something productive and adding to it each day gets me ...

urban outfitters haul (isolation drove me to it...)

Image
Since we started isolation, I have had a massive shopping urge, which wasn’t great but Urban Outfitters were having a MASSIVE sale on which meant that my bank account was going to see some damage! That being said I saved a lot more than I thought I would for the 8 items I bought. UO Diana Dotted Floral Long-Sleeve Playsuit Originally: £52     Bought For: £16.20 This is honestly one of the most gorgeous pieces I’ve seen in an UO sale. I placed 2 orders in the sale and the first time I wasn’t too sure if I could pull it off, but I ordered it the second time around as I just thought “I’ll just go for it”. When I tried it on, I loved it! The only small issue is it’s a little bit short, but as long as I don’t put my arms up too much, I’m good! I bought this in a size small, which is a good fit, it’s very airy and loose on the skin, perfect for the summer! I wore this on my sister’s birthday (which we celebrated in isolation) with my iets frans black bel...

guess who's back... (again)

Image
So, this is all a bit weird, I’m back (again), with a new name and a new look. I’ve decided that a fresh start was needed, I’m now an adult (I can’t really believe it), and a lot of things have started to change in my life. The plan with my new(ish) blog is to try and explore some different areas I never used to dive into. I’m looking to broaden more into lifestyle, productivity and fashion and take away from beauty as over the past few years I have just fallen out of love with makeup, hair and beauty. There may be an odd post on makeup if I’m feeling it but we’ll see… That being said, please bear with whilst I got back into the swing of things :)) The main reason I am back to blogging as I’m sure we all know is corona :(( , which has meant I have a lot more time due to the fact I am year 13 so I do not have to sit any exams at the end of the year. This means I have a lot more time to devote to blogging, so I will try my hardest to produce high quality content for you...
